Here’s what I know: If you have ever worked in a 9-5, or if you went through the traditional schooling system, chances are you developed an employee mindset along the way.

You get used to a job description, to being measured, to hearing what a boss has to say, to a performance review, to operating within the box of your company and boss’ goals.

We adapt and we pick up that employee mindset.

When we take that way of thinking and apply it to setting up our own business, we are actually setting ourselves up for something less than the success we are thinking and dreaming of.

We’re consciously thinking of freedom and working from home and travel and setting our schedule, and doing what we love, and yet we are still operating from that employee mindset.

Have you struggled with this, or identified this mindset in the past.
