Did you know that you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with? Motivational great Jim Rohn made this concept famous, and I’ve seen it to be very true!

That’s right, you--and your income--can be predicted by your 5 closest friends.

This can be either scary or exciting, depending on how you look at it!

And you know me, I choose to look at it as exciting, and here’s why…

This weekend, I hosted one of my mastermind partners for a retreat. We already meet weekly on the phone to goal-set and challenge each other, and spending time in person was amazing for encouragement, motivation, and connection.

We set aside focused time for projects like updating our websites and long-term planning, as well as for pedicures, exploring the city, and stumbling upon a goat/beer festival full of fun (“bock”=a kind of beer and also “goat” in German, who knew?).

Ahhh, my feet are finally ready for Spring!

Awww!! How cute is this little guy?! Did you guys know I used to have a miniature goat named Sam? True story. He was the best.

This is how we do chocolate in Kentucky.

This type of mix is what I desire my life to be, a fun-filled life supported by a business I love, not one consumed by it.

A consciously-created life full of people who inspire and challenge me to give my all to the world. And the 5 people closest to me are the most important!

That’s why I have mastermind partners, and that’s why I spent the weekend working and playing with one of them in person. I was inspired, encouraged, and had much more clarity after her visit.

She’s one of my closest friends, and the truth is, I didn’t even know her a year ago!

So, what are you doing to proactively choose who you spend your time with?

Time is one of your most precious resources, and your bank account and your calendar reflect your priorities.

What do yours say? If you don’t like the answer, you have the power to change it!

You got this,

Christine
