I've messed up, dear friend. I'm starting all over today.
Today is the start of a brand new week, and a brand new month (well, yesterday technically was, but you know what I mean).
And I'm making a new kind of fresh start.
I LOVE months that start on a Sunday, because they feel to me like a doubly fresh start. (Fun fact: I got married in one of those months!) But before now, I've often used the start of a month to focus on what didn't get done last month, where could I improve, etc., etc.
I was up early this morning, planning for my goals and dreams and what November 2015 is about for me, my businesses, and my clients. My dad was up too (I'm staying with my parents while I wait to move into my new house), so we chatted over tea about life and business. He shared one lesson he learned from one of his former bosses, a self-made billionaire.
He zeroed out the ledger every day.
What does that mean? It means that every morning, he got up and said "What is TODAY about for me?" He didn't carry over yesterday's to-dos. He didn't focus on what didn't get done yesterday. His values and goals didn't change, but the execution of them did, based on what TODAY was offering.
It's the same for you and me. So I'm changing the way I approach today. What about you?
The table is set and awaiting your presence.
The menu of possibilities is delicious and unlimited. Today is a beautiful, clean, fresh start of a new week, new month, new season.
What do YOU want to order?
Decide what November 2015 is about for you. Choose 3-5 goals that you want to focus on this month, and ask yourself if what you're doing is moving you toward those goals.
Reply to me and share your goals if you want some accountability!
Remember, the choice is yours, and the power to achieve those goals is yours, too.
You go get 'em!
To your best November yet,
