My dear readers, I want to share this quote I find very powerful:

"If you're depressed, you're living in the past.

If you're anxious, you're living in the future.

If you're at peace, you're living in the present."

As someone who's, at times, had both general feelings AND clinical diagnoses of depression and anxiety, I don't throw this around lightly.

This week has been one full of testing and triumph for me. I've had some difficult personal conversations where I needed to be honest (l no longer think conflict will literally kill me!), finally moved into my new house, and have been witness to some INCREDIBLE breakthroughs my clients have made.

Through all the chaos of a move, I've kept reminding myself to be present. I don't think we can remind ourselves enough.

One of the seal-the-deal selling point of this house was the view (below).

RIGHT?

This view reminds me to be present. To look up from my computer and take it in. To continue to believe in a world where anything is possible for all of us. My husband and I are totally pinching ourselves because 4 months ago, this view wasn't even on our radar.

See how fast things can change?

So where are you?

Are you feeling stuck, depressed, anxious? Are you living in the past or the future?

If so, where can you choose to be more present today? Move toward your dreams today? Even if it's to face something difficult, you'll be happier focusing on it and getting through it than dreading it forever, right?

Take a deep breath with me and sigh. Ahhhhhh....your dreams are waiting for you to go out there and get them. If it happened for me, if I was able to create a beautiful picture from a confused and bumbling journey, it CAN happen for you, too, friend.

At the end of the day, I'm doing what I was MEANT to do in this life, and to me, that is one of the absolute greatest feelings in the world.

Much love,

Christine
